Being a father of seven children (four of them Girls), I realize the safety concerns parents have for their children. Like many parents, I am tired of seeing young girls traumatized out of their innocence. This workshop is designed to help young girls have the awareness skills to avoid danger, the assertiveness skills to set boundaries and speak up when someone is testing the water to see if she is a victim, and the self-defense skills to stop someone from harming them.
This workshop will not cause young girls to become paranoid, but rather to become objectively aware of the dangers that exist. The workshop will empower them with tested skills to handle, avoid, control, or stop threatening situations.
