Thank you to all the girls who attended yesterday’s Girls’ Assault Prevention class. Even with the smoke and ash we were able to practice asserting ourselves, especially to people we know, and learned how to defend ourselves against someone with a knife and multiple attackers.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for spearheading this wonderful fighting group of girls. Please come by on any Saturday to refresh and remember.

I'd like to thank yesterday's class for their participation, and thank the parents for putting the class together. We reviewed what you learned before as well as what to do when someone has a weapon. Although it was scary, you all did really well disarming and going for vital areas. I'll see you next year when you enter high school. ~ And

Thank you JBHRS for actively participating in our workplace conflict resolution classes. Not taking things personally isn't always easy, but it is a powerful tool for resolving conflicts quickly.  P.S. Remember to breathe! ~ André

Thank you, Jewish Community High School of the Bay, for allowing me to share my street and personal safety lecture.  I hope that there is something I said that you'll remember and use the next time you go out or deal with someone who is manifesting predatory behavior. I hope to see you one day in one of our complete Assault Prevention classes to experience the hands-on training.  ~ André
