| Change is difficult. When you are changing from the inside out, it is even more difficult. As parents we want to talk to our children to help and guide them through this time. "How do I get them to talk to me?" is the question I am asked most frequently, and this lecture specifically addresses this topic in a practical and honest way. Being father of seven children I have had to learn several different ways to communicate with my children. During our discussions I will share parenting and communication principles as well as effective antidotes to everyday communication problems that can occur with teen children. Some of the principles discussed:
