Aaron Burke | Andre Salvage Foundation (ASF) Director
Aaron
grew up dealing with many of the challenges that affect today's urban
youth, and works today to create change in communities through
education and support. After graduating in the bottom 1% of his high
school class, Aaron moved to upstate New York where he attended a
community college and began to turn his life around. While in college
Aaron began lecturing at local schools about how violence, race
relations and limited social resources effect youth in urban areas.
While doing so, Aaron earned straight A's, emerged academically in the
top 1% of all college students nationwide, and became the president of
his college's chapter of the international honor society. After
graduating with high honors from his community college, Aaron attended
Georgetown University in Washington DC where he earned a double degree
in Finance and International Business.
As ASF Director, Aaron works tirelessly on program development and strategic planning. He has worked
with the Andre Salvage Foundation since 2001, helping survivors of assault to move
through the traumas they've experienced, and helping to train others on
how to avoid assaults. Aaron is active in the Foundations Men's,
Women's, and Children's programs. Aaron is also invaluable
in the corporate programs that are held throughout California.
